Woman’s body found dismembered in Noakhali
The deceased was identified as Nur Jahan Begum (42), wife of Abdul Barek of Charjabbar union of Noakhali.
A Noakhali woman was found horrifically killed and cut into pieces in a paddy field in Noakhali's Subarnachar upazila on Wednesday afternoon, just three days after an incident of rape and brutal torture on another woman of the district triggered nationwide protest.
The deceased was identified as Nur Jahan Begum (42), wife of Abdul Barek of Charjabbar union of Noakhali.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Charjabbar Police Station Shahed Uddin said, "We recovered two parts of her dead body."

The chest and the leg parts of the dead body are still missing, he added.
Humayun Kabir, son of the slain woman, informed police that his mother went missing since morning.
"A local woman found parts of a severed dead body while searching for snails in the paddy field. I went there after the news spread, and identified it as my mother's body," the son said.
OC Shahed Uddin said, "The recovered body parts, including head and waist, were sent to Noakhali General Hospital for post-mortem."
