White paper on posts and telecommunications published
The White Paper prepared by the taskforce on the Posts and Telecommunications Division (PTD) was published today (5 January) on the official website of the department (ptd.gov.bd).
The taskforce, formed to review and analyse corruption and irregularities within the PTD over the last 15 years, submitted the white paper following an extensive investigation and review process.
The document provides a comprehensive account of corruption, administrative weaknesses, structural problems, and various irregularities across different activities of the department during the past one and a half decades.

Alongside identifying the problems, the white paper also includes a set of recommendations aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and good governance in the post and telecommunication sector in the future.
The taskforce was officially formed on 21 April 2025 with the approval of the chief adviser.
