Unilever Bangladesh crowns BizMaestros X UFLP 2026 winners
Soap-R-Stars emerged as champions of the 16th edition of Unilever Bangladesh's flagship business competition, followed by Locked Out and Breaking Good.
Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) has announced the winners of BizMaestros X Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) 2026, with Soap-R-Stars clinching the title in the 16th edition of its flagship business competition.
"Locked Out" secured the first runner-up position, while "Breaking Good" finished as the second runner-up. All three winning teams represented the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at the University of Dhaka.
The winners were announced at the grand finale held at Dhaka's Radisson Blu Water Garden, where five finalist teams presented solutions to a real-world business challenge before a panel of judges.
The judging panel comprised Nabila Jabeen Khan, head of personal care at Unilever Bangladesh; Nurul Monowar, head of home care; Md Shadman Sadikin, head of customer business development; and Paria Yasmin, managing director of Bata Shoe Bangladesh Ltd.
Held under the theme "Disrupt To Win", this year's competition challenged participants to develop innovative and commercially viable solutions to contemporary business problems.
The 2026 edition marked the first integration of BizMaestros with the Unilever Future Leaders Programme, combining Unilever Bangladesh's flagship business case competition with its entry-level talent recruitment initiative.
The competition began with individual applications, aptitude assessments and digital interviews. The top 45 candidates advanced to a bootcamp and Discovery Centre, where they participated in mentorship sessions, functional case-solving exercises, focus group discussions and individual and group assessments.
Following the assessment phase, the top 15 participants were divided into five teams for the grand finale. Their proposed solutions were evaluated based on innovation, relevance, feasibility and potential business impact.
As part of the programme, Unilever Bangladesh also organised "Learn to Lead" roadshows at leading universities and a nationwide webinar through the Radancy platform to familiarise students with the company's business operations, leadership culture, recruitment process and early-career opportunities.
According to the company, participants will have access to career opportunities across its go-to-market, finance, supply chain and human resources functions.
High-performing candidates will be fast-tracked to the final interview stage of the Unilever Future Leaders Programme and considered for entry-level roles and the Unilever Leadership Internship Programme.
BizMaestros is one of Unilever Bangladesh's longstanding talent development initiatives aimed at identifying promising graduates and equipping them with practical business experience through real-world problem-solving and leadership development.
