Six corruption cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) over alleged irregularities in land plot allocations by the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) involving former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her family members, and several high-ranking officials, have been transferred to two separate courts in Dhaka for trial.

According to sources from the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court, the cases were reassigned today (22 July). Three cases each have been sent to Dhaka Special Judge Court-4 and Dhaka Special Judge Court-5.

The date for the charge-framing hearings has been set for 31 July.

In January, the ACC filed six separate cases alleging that illegal plot allocations were made by abusing power and bypassing standard regulations. The accused include not only political figures but also bureaucrats and RAJUK officials.
