Even though the bus counters remain open from this morning, no one is selling tickets. No vehicle left from the district and entered from outside which intensified sufferings to commuters.

Shafiqul Islam, counter master of Hanif Enterprise, said they were not allowed to sell any tickets. They will not sell tickets unless the owners association gives permission.

A software engineer named Abul Bashar working in Dhaka waiting in front of the counter said he would have to return to his workplace in Dhaka on an emergency basis. But there is no bus.

Nazma Begum from Chapainawabganj came to Rajshahi with her children following an appointment with a doctor yesterday. But bus services have been stopped and they can't return home.

Being asked,Rajshahi Metropolitan Police spokesman Additional Deputy Commissioner Golam Ruhul Quddus said that they are trying to tackle the situation.

BNP Rajshahi divisional organising secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukder claimed that the bus service was suspended earlier also during the 2018 rally.
