3 more die with measles symptoms in Rajshahi
Doctors say children with weaker immune systems are more likely to develop severe complications.
Three more children have died with measles symptoms in Rajshahi in 24 hours till this morning (7 April).
Among them, one died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, while two others died at the private Rajshahi Royal Hospital.
According to sources at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, one child undergoing treatment died with measles symptoms at the facility.
Eighteen new patients have been admitted to the hospital and 123 are currently receiving treatment, they said.
During the same period, 32 patients were discharged after recovery.
So far 429 patients with measles symptoms have been admitted to the hospital, of whom 43 have died.
