A fire broke out at a spinning mill in Joynabazar area of Sreepur upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
Mamunur Rashid, assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense, said that the fire broke out at Jamjam Spinning Mills around 2:30 pm.
On information, four firefighting units rushed to spot and are trying to douse the fire, he said.
