Fire breaks out at scrap plastic factory in Ctg

A scrap plastic factory caught fire at plot no 10 in the Kalpolok residential area under Baklia police station of Chattogram around 5pm today (4 October).
Upon receiving the news, four units from the Chandanpura and Lalmabazar fire stations rushed to the spot and began efforts to bring the blaze under control, according to the Chattogram Divisional Fire Service Control Unit.
The cause of the fire could not be confirmed immediately, officials said, adding that no casualties have been reported so far.
