Several good initiatives left incomplete due to short interim govt tenure: Ex-adviser Fouzul
He said that journalists and others still ask him questions related to decisions taken by the new government and his former ministries.
Former energy adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, who headed multiple ministries under the interim government, has said several good initiatives have been left incomplete due to the short tenure of the interim government.
In a Facebook post today (24 February), Fouzul also requested everyone to give the new BNP government time.
In the post, he wrote, "To receive good outcomes from a government, it must be given time. No government comes with a magic lamp. Moreover, infrastructure projects take time to implement."
He said that journalists and others still ask him questions related to decisions taken by the new government and his former ministries.
In reply to questions regarding decisions taken by the new government, Fouzul said, "The newly elected government has the absolute authority to take any decisions."
While answering the second issue, he replied, "I have left messages for my successors in all three ministries. There, I provided details on where we started, what we accomplished, where we currently stand, what we could not complete and what remains to be done in the future."
"In addition, five ministries and divisions have published brief booklets outlining their activities. If anyone needs further information, they should speak with the current office holders and department heads," added Fouzul.
