President, PM mourn death of HT Imam

President, PM mourn death of HT Imam

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of veteran Awami League leader HT Imam.

In separate messages, they prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and extended condolence to the bereaved family members.

Hossain Toufique Imam, the political adviser to the prime minister, has died at the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Wednesday midnight at his 86.

He breathed his last at 1:15am while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
