CA consoles Tarique Rahman on arrival at Khaleda Zia’s janaza

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today consoled BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman over the death of his mother, three-time former prime minister, BNP chairperson and prominent leader of democratic politics Begum Khaleda Zia.
Prof Yunus conveyed his condolences when bereaved Tarique Rahman, the eldest son of Begum Zia, arrived at the venue of his mother's namaz-e-janaza at Manik Mia Avenue this afternoon, according to the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

Some foreign dignitaries also attended the funeral of Begum Zia, who is widely regarded as an uncompromising leader for democracy in Bangladesh.
Begum Khaleda Zia, the country's first female prime minister, died at 6:00am on Tuesday at the age of 80 while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
