Nasiruddin Patwary set to continue campaign activities after Juhr prayers following brief illness
Earlier, yesterday (23 January), during an election campaign event at Siddheswari, rotten eggs were reportedly thrown at Nasiruddin from a nearby building.
Nasiruddin Patwary, the National Citizen Party chief coordinator and the party-nominated MP candidate for Dhaka-8, is set to continue his campaign activities today (24 January) following Juhr prayers after feeling physically unwell earlier in the morning.
"Nasiruddin Patwary continued his campaign from Fajr prayers to 8am today. Later, he felt physically ill, which led to the postponement of all his scheduled activities today," his media team member Shamil Abdullah Shamil Abdullah said.
He added, "Once Nasiruddin Patwary feels better, we will resume our activities. Our next programme place and time will be informed through SMS."
According to the previously announced schedule, campaign activities were planned from 8:30am to 1pm at Palwell Super Market, PW Colony, and Naya Paltan.
These were to be followed by the Juhr prayers at the Old Paltan Mosque, a street rally in front of Little Jewel School at 2:30pm, the Asr prayers at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, and later campaign activities in the mosque area and in Gulistan.
