Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman today (8 July) urged all, including leaders and activists of different ranks and files of the party, to make their national rally of 19 July a grand success.

Speaking at a meeting at the party's central office in Dhaka, Shafiqur said Jamaat-e-Islami has arranged the rally for implementing the expectations of martyred of July-August mass uprising, showing respect to the martyred and bringing back the trend of true democratic process in the country. 

Reviewing different aspects of preparations of the rally, he said the success of the students-mass uprising would be ensured by realising the 7-point demands given by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

Among others, Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Md Taher, Secretary General Miah Golam Parwar, assistant secretary generals Abdul Halim and Ehsan Mahbub Jubair, central executive members Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Md Ijjat Ullah and Mobarak Hussain, ameers of Dhaka South and North Nurul Islam Bulbul and Md Selim Uddin, and general secretaries of both the units Shafiqul Islam Masud and Rezaul Karim were present at the meeting.
