Fakhrul calls for national unity to resolve election roadmap
A BNP delegation is scheduled to meet Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on 16 April to discuss upcoming national election and reforms

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has emphasised the need for national unity and dialogue to resolve the issue of the election roadmap.
"We have always believed that a new Bangladesh will be created through dialogue and unity. I am confident that this unity will be achieved, and we will succeed," he said while talking to reporters at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport upon his return from a medical check-up abroad this afternoon (14 April).
Fakhrul also addressed speculation over a possible shift in the election timeline from December, saying, "This issue too will be resolved."
BNP delegation to meet CA Yunus on 16 April to discuss election, reform issues
A BNP delegation is scheduled to meet Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on 16 April, following the party's request for a discussion regarding the upcoming national election and reforms.
The meeting will take place at the Chief Adviser's official residence, State Guest House Jamuna, at 12:00 noon.
BNP leaders said their delegation would send a clear message to the chief adviser that the BNP will not accept any attempt by the government to extend its power unnecessarily until June next year.
