BNP forms committee to review new electoral boundary demarcations
In response to the Election Commission's recent initiatives to redraw electoral boundaries, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has formed a five-member committee to review and coordinate the party's position on the matter.
The decision was announced in a press statement signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today (3 August).
The committee will be led by BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan, who has been appointed as its convener.
Other members of the committee include Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, former acting secretary of the Election Commission Md Zakaria, former deputy secretary Shamsul Alam, and BNP Executive Committee member Belayet Hossain Mridha.
