Over 100 injured in Narsingdi as earthquake hits Bangladesh

Over 100 people were injured in Narsingdi as a 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh today (21 November)
morning.
Most of the injured sustained injuries while rushing out of their homes, said witnesses,
The injured are receiving treatment at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, said Farida Parvin, Resident Medical Officer of the hospital.
Two of the patients have been referred to Dhaka for advanced treatment, she added.
Meanwhile, land cracks were reported inside Ghorashal Dairy Farm and Shibpur Baroi Algi area.
Earlier, the magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh today (21 November) morning.
The tremor occurred around 10:38am and lasted about a minute.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 13 km east of the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka, BMD added.
