Noboborsho 1432: Govt plans to organise inclusive Mongol Shobhajatra with participation of Bangalees, ethnic minorities

The interim government is taking initiatives to ensure an inclusive Mongol Shobhajatra this Pahela Baisakh with participation from both the Bangalee and the ethnic minorities for the first time.
An inter-ministerial meeting will be held in this regard, the government announced in a Facebook post on the official page of the chief adviser, citing the cultural affairs ministry today (19 March).
"For the first time, the Bangladesh government is organising an inter-ministerial meeting to celebrate the national Bangla Noboborsho and the Noboborsho 1432 of the Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Garo and other ethnic groups," reads the post.
To make this possible, the interim government will hold an inter-ministerial meeting with Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostafa Sarwar Farooki in the chair at the meeting of room the Ministry of Cultural Affairs at 12pm on 23 March, adds the post.
