No wish to become minister in next govt: Adviser Salehuddin
'Wherever I have worked, I have worked with integrity,' says Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed.

Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed has said he does not wish to become a minister in the government that will come to power through the upcoming general election, also mentioning his love of teaching.
Speaking to The Business Standard today (30 September) at his finance ministry office, the adviser said, "Before becoming adviser, I was teaching at Brac University. They have still kept my office for me.
"The car Brac University had given me has also not been returned to the pool yet. The driver still calls me and says, 'Sir, just let me know and I will bring the car.' Teaching students is a great comfort for me."
Salehuddin continued, "Wherever I have worked, I have worked with integrity. I have held good positions during every government, at BARD, PKSF and the NGO [Affairs] Bureau," before mentioning his tenure as governor of Bangladesh Bank.
On his long-time friend BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the adviser said, "I spoke with my friend even yesterday. But I do not know what position he will hold [if his party comes to power]."
