Md Afzal Karim joins BHBFC Managing Director
Md Afzal Karim has joined Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) as Managing Director on Monday following a gazette issued by the Department of Financial Institutions under Ministry of Finance.
BHBFC confirmed the matter via a press release issued on Wednesday.
Afzal joined BHBFC in 1995 as Senior Principal Officer and also served as the Deputy General Manager and General Manager (current charge) with the responsibilities of various departments.

Prior to joining BHBFC, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited.
Previously he discharged various duties and performed important tasks as Deputy Managing Director and General Manager in various departments and offices of Bangladesh Krishi Bank. He was awarded the Integrity Award of Bangladesh Krishi Bank for 2018-19 financial year in recognition of his honesty and efficiency.
He also served the Sena Kallyan Sangstha, a Multinational Company and Bangladesh Tea Board as Project Head and Assistant Manager respectively.
