Journalist’s body found hanging from tree at Cox’s Bazar beach
The body has been sent to Cox’s Bazar District Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy

Police have recovered the body of a man who has been identified as a journalist hanging from a tree in Jhau Bagan, near the tourist golf field on Cox's Bazar sea beach today (4 September).
The deceased was identified as Amin Ullah (28), son of late Junu Mia of Dakshin Balukhali in Ukhia's Palangkhali union.
He worked as the Ukhia correspondent of Dainik Pran Bangladesh and was employed at the Friendship Field Hospital in the Rohingya camp.
Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station OC Ilias Khan said locals spotted the body around 9am and informed police.
Officers later recovered it hanging with a nylon rope. No injury marks were found except around the neck, he added.
"Initially, we believe it to be a suicide. However, investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause," said the OC.
Local journalist SM Gafur said he saw Amin on Wednesday night in Chittagong's Notun Bridge area, where Amin mentioned meeting his uncle. Three unidentified youths were with him, and later around 9:30pm, he boarded a Cox's Bazar-bound Marsha Transport bus.
The body has been sent to Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
