JCI awards 10 youths for outstanding contributions to social development
JCI is a global organisation of young leaders dedicated to creating positive change in themselves and the world
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has recognised 10 youths with its 2020 Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Awards for their extraordinary accomplishments in the development of the society.
The winners are: Sheikh Tonmoy, Shams Mahmud, Safwan Sobhan, Siddikur Rahman, Akbar Ali, Hridoy Khan, Ayman Sadiq, Tanvir Ahmed, Nobonita Chowdhury, and Reazul Kabir, read a press release.
The awards ceremony was held at a five-star hotel in the capital on 14 November.

Foreign Affairs Minister AK Abdul Momen was present on the occasion as the chief guest while Lawmaker Nahim Razzaq was the special guest.
JCI is a global organisation of young leaders aged 18-40.
The community has more than 150,000 active members in 105 countries.
The young leaders are dedicated to creating positive change in themselves and the world, according to the press release.
JCI Bangladesh, every year, takes initiative to recognise the contributions of the youth to the society.
The award recognises achievement in various categories such as: business, economy, entrepreneurial accomplishment, politics, legal affairs, government affairs, academic leadership, personal improvement or accomplishment, medical innovation, cultural achievement, and humanitarian or voluntary leadership.
National President of JCI Bangladesh Sarah Kamal said, "We will be developing leaders for a changing world and we will focus on: sustaining and rebuilding economies, motivating the workforce, preserving mental health and cultivating a global leadership mentality among members – amplifying their existing skills and talents through high quality events and trainings."
