Bangladesh’s highest remittance-earning districts in FY26

Bangladesh received a record $35.6 billion in remittances in FY26, up 17.35% year-on-year from $30.3 billion in FY25, with Chattogram recording the highest growth and Panchagarh the sharpest decline, with inflows falling 38.3%. Lalmonirhat recorded the lowest remittance inflows among the districts at $18 million, down 27.3% year-on-year.
