Professor Dr Md Zahid Hossain, chairman of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), has been appointed as the pro-Vice Chancellor of the university.
He was appointed to the position by the President and the hospital's Chancellor Abdul Hamid, an official order signed by the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Moniruzzaman Bakaul says.
He took the office today.
