Eastern University holds orientation programme for freshers

Eastern University recently held an orientation programme for its Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 undergraduate students.
The programme was held at the university's permanent campus in Ashulia, said a press release.

Shahid Akhtar Hossain, the university's vice chancellor, chaired the programme while Mohammad Kaykobad, its emeritus professor, delivered the welcome speech.
Eastern University's Chairman Sk Sayedur Rahman was present as the guest of honour at the programme.
Addressing the students, Muhammad Zafar Iqbal said, "Hard work along with educational qualification, is essential for becoming successful in life."
Liaquat Hossain Moghul, former chairman and current member of the board of trustees of Eastern University was also present among others on the occasion.
