The Comilla Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has postponed today (10 July) Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations due to worsening flood conditions in several areas under its jurisdiction, including parts of Feni.

The decision was announced at around 9:30pm yesterday (9 July).

Runa Nasrin, controller of examinations at the Comilla Education Board, confirmed the matter.

The exams scheduled for today included Physics (1st paper), Accounting (1st paper), and Logic (1st paper).

According to board officials, new dates for these three subjects will be announced later.

The decision was made after a full-day assessment of the flood situation, which showed no signs of improvement by yesterday evening.
