Apart from direct admission, the students may study their selected subjects online

Due to students' demand, the interest of conscious guardians and the authority's commitment to safe arrangements, Chittagong Independent University (CIU) has started its admission for the autumn semester, online.

Vice-Chancellor of CIU, Dr Mahfuzul Haque Chowdhury said, "We have kept academic activities entirely active online. For those who wish to be admitted, it is high time for them to start studying and defeating the fear of the [novel] coronavirus."

"There will be obstacles. But, the strength of the youth is to create a mentality of advancing themselves by defeating those fears," he added.

Apart from direct admission, the students can study their selected subjects online, from their homes.

Cambridge International releases results for June 2020 series

The students can collect admission forms and other relevant information at the admission office's branch of the city's Jamal Khan campus from 9am to 3pm; except on general holidays.

They can also collect information from the official website of CIU, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, and Linkedin; along with via popular online newspapers, FM Radio and television channels.

Currently CIU offers various subjects under its Business School, School of Science & Engineering, School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences and School of Law.
