The power supply has been restored in Jamalpur, Sherpur and Netrakona districts in Mymensingh division after it was snapped due to a fire in Kewatkhali Power Grid.

According to locals the power to Mymensingh district has been restored partially, reports BSS.

Earlier, a fire broke out at a grid substation at Mymensingh's Kewatkhali power station on Tuesday noon.

Two fire service units brought the fire under control after 1-hour effort, he added.

PGCD grid substation floorman Narul Isram said that the fire was primarily appeared to have started from a short circuit.
