2 children die with measles symptoms at Barishal hospital
One of the deceased was four months old and the other was 13 months old.
Two children died at Barishal's Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in 24 hours till this morning (28 April) after being admitted with measles symptoms.

According to hospital sources, 55 new patients were admitted with measles symptoms during the period, bringing the total number of patients currently undergoing treatment to 163.
Of the two deceased, four-month-old Huzaifa was a resident of Banaripara upazila of Barishal, while 13-month-old Abdullah was from Taltali upazila of Barguna.
Barishal Divisional Health Director Dr Shyamal Krishna Mondal said instructions have been issued to treat measles cases with the highest priority.
"We are monitoring different areas daily. There is no shortage of measles vaccines in Barishal division and vaccinations are also being carried out through campaigns. Even so, hospitals are struggling to cope with the heavy patient load."
