11 children die with measles symptoms in 24hrs
DGHS data shows that between 15 March and 25 April, a total of 4,460 measles cases were confirmed through laboratory testing.
Eleven children died from measles and measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours to 8am today (25 April), according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same period, 1058 patients with measles-like symptoms were admitted to hospitals nationwide. Of these, 229 cases were laboratory-confirmed as measles.
Forty-two children have died from confirmed measles infections in Bangladesh, while 209 children have died with symptoms consistent with measles.

According to the latest health bulletin, 30,607 suspected measles cases have been identified nationwide. Of these, 17,081 patients have already been discharged after receiving treatment.
