Ctg man killed by 4th wife for marrying again
Police arrested 23-year-old Nurjahan, the fourth wife of the deceased, Md Alauddin, 36.

Police arrested a woman today (23 February) for allegedly stabbing her husband to death in Chattogram after discovering that he had secretly married for the fifth time.
According to police reports, the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Nurjahan, was the fourth wife of the deceased, Md Alauddin, 36.
The incident took place around 2am today in the Bashundhara Residential area under Halishahar Police Station, confirmed Halishahar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Moniruzzaman to The Business Standard.
"Although Alauddin was married four times, he had no contact with his previous three wives. Nurjahan recently found out that he had secretly married for the fifth time. This led to disputes between them, and in an act of revenge, she stabbed him to death," he added.
After the murder, Nurjahan stayed at the scene, visibly distressed. The police arrived shortly after and took her into custody.
They also recovered the bloodstained weapon used in the attack.
Alauddin's body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Police are preparing to file a case regarding the incident.
Md Alauddin, originally from Noakhali, was a rickshaw puller and a day labourer. Nurjahan, also from Noakhali, lived with him in a rented house in Chattogram.
