Crude bomb attack on BNP office in Satkhira
Police recovered two unexploded crude bombs from the scene following a midnight attack in Kaliganj.
An alleged crude bomb attack was carried out on the Bhara Shimla Union BNP office in Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira late last night (15 August).
Police recovered two unexploded crude bombs from the scene.
Shahidul Islam Howlader, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station, said police visited the scene during the night and recovered two crude bombs.
"We are investigating who was involved in the incident," he said.
Meanwhile, Sohel Rana, general secretary of Bhara Shimla Union BNP, said the office was targeted in a crude bomb attack in the dead of night. Two explosions occurred, while two other bombs failed to detonate, leaving one person injured.
BNP leaders and activists have expressed concern over the incident.
