Five rape cases, including of three teenagers, filed with 2 Dhaka police stations in one day

Five people including three teenagers have reportedly been raped in separate incidents in Khilgaon and Mugda areas of the capital.
Separate cases were filed with Khilgaon and Mugda Police Stations regarding the incidents today (20 March).
All the victims are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Al Amin, sub-inspector of Mugda Police Station, said a complaint was lodged against Jabbar, 40, a neighbour of the 12-year-old victim on charge of violating her in the Mugda area yesterday (19 March).
In another incident, a 13-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour Pintu Chandra Das on 18 March. A case was filed in this connection.
Both of them admitted their guilt after their arrest and they were sent to jail after being produced before the court today.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl was raped by Siam, 18, in Dhaka's Mugda area on 18 March, said sub-inspector Touhidul Islam of Mugda Police Station.
Police arrested the accused. A case was also filed in this connection.
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Alif Siam, 20, on 23 February in Khilgaon, said Ilias Mahmud, sub-inspector of Khilgaon Police Station.
The girl's family filed a case with Khilgaon Police Station yesterday.
In another incident, an 11-year-old girl was raped when she went out from her home to go to a toilet in Khilgaon area yesterday.
Police arrested Alamin, a neighbour of the girl in this connection, said sub-inspector Mosharraf Hossain.
