Crackdown: 30 more held in Ctg in last 24 hours, total 301 arrested in 11 days

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 30 individuals, including members of the Awami League and its affiliated organisations, in a 24-hour special operation from Monday (10 February) 2pm to Tuesday (11 February) 2pm.
They were held for allegedly inciting unrest, planning disruptions, aiding criminal activities, and possessing illegal weapons.
With these arrests, the total number of arrested in CMP's ongoing crackdown has reached 301 in the past 11 days.
The arrested individuals face charges related to attacks on July uprising protesters during the anti-discrimination movement, violations of the Special Powers Act, and offences under the Anti-Terrorism Act, confirmed the Public Relations and Media Wing of CMP through a press release this afternoon.
CMP officials stated that further investigations are ongoing, and the arrested individuals will be presented before the court for legal proceedings.
