College student killed in bus collision on Dhaka-Ctg highway
A 19-year-old college student was killed when a bus hit the motorcycle she was riding, along the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Narayanganj.
The deceased was identified as Afsana Akter, a student of Government Tolaram College, Kanchpur Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Wahed Morshed confirmed.
The incident occurred on Sunday (18 May) in Bandar.

The OC said a bus heading towards Cumilla in the afternoon hit the motorcycle, resulting in Afsana's death.
"The bus fled the scene immediately after the incident. One other person was also injured.
Police said her body has been kept at the Kanchpur Highway Police Station following the incident.
"Legal action will be taken once the victim's family approaches the police station," he added.
Afsana was a first-year student in the Business Studies department of the college.
