2 Chattogram traders fined Tk4.30 lakh for selling oxygen cylinders at high prices

A mobile court in Chattogram fined two businessmen Tk4.30 lakh for selling oxygen cylinders and regulators at higher prices.
The mobile court, led by district administration's Executive Magistrate Umar Faruque, fined Bismillah Enterprises Tk4 lakh and Hasan Traders Tk30,000 during an hour-long drive at different places in the port city on Tuesday.
Umar Faruque told The Business Standard that they found evidence against Bismillah Enterprise of making an extra profit of Tk10,000 to Tk15000 per cylinder and Tk30,000 per regulator. It could not show any invoice record before the court, he added.
