Sources at the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Law have revealed eight people for the positions so far
The High Court division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court is going to get some new judges.
According to article 98 of the Constitution of Bangladesh, they will soon be appointed as additional judges for two years.

They are a retired district judge, a judge of a special Dhaka judge court, a senior official (district judge) of the supreme court, one former and three current deputy attorney generals and a supreme court lawyer.
Law Minister Anisul Huq told The Business Standard that the High Court 'may' get some new judges soon.
A source at the ministry of law said a gazette notification on the appointment of the eight judges may be published in the next two days. The notifications are currently awaiting the president's signature.
The source told us that the appointments have already been approved by the prime minister's office.
Chief Judge Syed Mahmud Hossain will administer the oath to the additional judges after the notification is issued in the gazette. Additional judges are appointed for two years from the time of taking oath.
