4 sent to jail over stabbing man to death at Banani shisha bar
No lawyer was representing the accused during the proceedings

A Dhaka court has sent four individuals to jail in connection with the killing of a man, Rahat Hossain Rabbi, who was stabbed to death at a shisha bar in the capital's Banani.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Israt Jenifar Jerin passed the order today (15 August), said Sub-inspector Moktar Hossain, Banani police station's general registration official at the court.
The four suspects are - Mir Hossain, 22, Fazle Rabbi, 24, Sabbir Ahmed Sumon, 30, and Arafat Islam Fahim, 27.
The court's order came after Banani Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Amzad Sheikh, the investigating officer, produced them and requested their detention.
No lawyer was representing the accused during the proceedings, SI Moktar said.
The killing took place around 4:30am yesterday (14 August) at the '360 Degree' shisha bar in Banani.
According to CCTV footage and police, Rabbi was stabbed on the stairs of the building.
Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge Russell Sarwar said Rabbi was stabbed during an altercation with a group of young men.
Rabbi, 31, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body has been kept at the morgue of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
In connection with the murder, Rabbi's father, Robiul Awal, filed a case with Banani police today. Law enforcers later arrested the four suspects.
