CA Yunus to address nation tonight as country celebrates July Uprising Day
On the occasion of the July Uprising Day, Chief Adviser (CA) Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to deliver a televised address to the nation at 8:20pm tonight (5 August).
The speech will be aired simultaneously on Bangladesh Television (BTV), BTV News, and Bangladesh Betar, according to a statement issued by the CA Press Wing.
The chief adviser is scheduled to read out the July Declaration at 5pm today at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, during an event marking the July Uprising Day.

Family members of the July martyrs and injured, people from all walks of life, and representatives from political parties, as well as different organisations, will attend the event.
There is also public speculation that CA Yunus is likely to announce the date or timeline of the next national election.
Many political parties, including the BNP, have been demanding a specific election date for a while, while other parties have urged the interim government to hold the eleciton after necessary reforms.
