Reforms: Yunus meets Consensus Commission, gives directives towards next steps

Chief Adviser (CA) Muhammad Yunus today (28 April) gave necessary directives towards the next steps on the reform process as the National Consensus Commission reviewed the progress of the ongoing discussions with political parties.
He gave the directives during a meeting with the members of the Consensus Commission held at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Yunus, who is also the head of the commission, and a detailed discussion was held on the reform process, according to the CA's Press Wing.
The commission's Vice-Chairman Ali Riaz informed the CA about the discussions that have already been held with the political parties.
Commission members Badiul Alam Majumder, Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Hoque, and Safar Raj Hossain also attended the meeting.
Law Adviser Asif Nazrul, Industries and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Special Assistant to the CA Monir Haider were also present.
