BSF-BGB high level talks to begin on Thursday

Director General level talks (DGLT) between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF)  will begin on Thrusday in BGB's Pilkhana headquarters in Dhaka.

The 50th biannual talks will start at around 10:45 am on September 17, a BGB press release.

A six-member BSF delegation team led by BSF head Rakesh Asthana will join in the metting.

A 13-member BSF delegation team will attend the talks.

The meeting of the border forces will conclude at around 8:30 am through the signing of 'Joint Record of Discussions' (JRD) on September 19.

BSF-BGB high level talks postponed

The BSF team will leave Dhaka on the same day.

The biannual talks was scheduled to be held from September 13 to September 18.

But it was postponed as the BSF delegation team could not arrive Dhaka on September 13 due to the technical problems of BSF's aircraft.
