Bogies of 2 trains recovered in Brahmanbaria, rail service between Dhaka, Ctg, Sylhet resumes after 11 hours
Train movement resumed after the damaged railway tracks and sleepers were repaired, says Mohammad Jasim Uddin, station master of Brahmanbaria Railway Station

Rail connections between Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet have resumed after being suspended for eleven hours due to two train bogies derailing at the same location on both the up and down lines in Brahmanbaria.
Train movement returned to normal on both lines around 9:30am this morning (10 May).
Around 10:15pm last night (9 May), a freight train coming from Chattogram to Brahmanbaria derailed near the Pairtala railway crossing at the outer section of Brahmanbaria Railway Station, disrupting rail communication between Dhaka and the Chattogram and Sylhet regions.
Then around 6am this morning, a bogie of the Cox's Bazar Express train, travelling from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, also derailed.
These incidents caused rail communications between Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet to be completely suspended.
"The derailed bogie of the freight train was recovered at 4:50am, and the Cox's Bazar Express bogie was recovered at 7:15am. However, train movement resumed normally from 9:30am after the damaged railway tracks and sleepers were repaired," said Mohammad Jasim Uddin, station master of Brahmanbaria Railway Station.
