A BNP leader was injured in a landmine explosion near Chakdhala border in Bandarban's Naikhongchhari today (29 March).
The injured is Mohammad Salam, 45, president of Naikhongchhari's Chakdhala ward BNP.
The incident took place inside Myanmar beyond the border pillar number 44 at Chakdhala this afternoon when Salam illegally entered Myanmar for firewood, said Naikhongchhari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Masrurul Haque.
