'Don't fly so high': Ashulia BNP leader gets death threat with bullet, shroud cloth
A bag containing a threatening letter, bullet, shroud cloth and items used for burial rituals was left outside Mohammad Ismail Hossain Molla’s home.
A local BNP leader in Ashulia has allegedly received a death threat after a bag containing a threatening letter, a bullet, shroud cloth and items used in funeral rituals was left outside his home early today (8 August).
Mohammad Ismail Hossain Molla, senior vice-president of the BNP's Yearpur union unit and a prospective candidate for a member post in the next union parishad election, found the bag outside his house in the morning, according to his family members.
After being informed, police from Ashulia Police Station went to the spot and recovered the bag.

The bag contained a piece of shroud cloth, a bullet, attar, rose water, soap and a handwritten letter, said Mohammad Tarikul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ashulia Police Station.
The letter warned Ismail and his family against what it described as their growing influence and told him not to "fly too high".
"Out of love, I have sent you everything needed for your final farewell," the letter said, warning that an "invisible traveller" would reach him if he did not "correct" himself.
The letter was signed "Invisible Traveller".
Speaking to reporters, Ismail said he had previously believed he had no enemies.
"Now I see that I do. I cannot understand who has threatened me," he said, adding that he was not afraid and would take legal action over the incident.
OC Tarikul Islam said police had recovered the items after receiving information about the bag.
"Legal action is being initiated in connection with the incident," added the OC.
