BNP factional clash in Munshiganj leaves 8 shot
The incident occurred when supporters of Wahid Molla’s group reportedly clashed with supporters of Uzair Ali’s group, both affiliated with BNP in the same area, according to locals.

At least eight people sustained bullet injuries in a clash between two factions of BNP in Munshikandi area of Munshiganj Sadar upazila's Mollakandi union today (5 September) around 8pm.
The injured are Shahidul Madbar, 45, Majnu Sarkar, 55, Shamim Sarkar, 27, Jahangir Sarkar, 35, Nazrul Sarkar, 65, Sharif Madbar, 65, Sohel, 35, and Liton, 25 and among them, Sohel and Liton were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said Dr Masud Parvez, emergency physician at Munshiganj General Hospital.
He confirmed that all eight of them are residents of Munshikandi and were admitted with bullet wounds.

Munshiganj Sadar police officer-in-charge (OC) M Saiful Alam said, "We did not know anything regarding this, we are trying to gather further information."
