Bangladesh Satellite-1 broadcast may face disruption for solar outage

Bangladesh Satellite-1 may face temporary disruptions in broadcast for seven days, starting from March 7 due to a possible solar outage.
These outages, also referred to as solar satellite interference, occur when the sun passes directly behind satellites transmitting signals.
The Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited issued a notification in this regard today, mentioning the probable period of the outage.
On 7 March, an eight-minute disruption may start at 9:53am followed by 10 minutes on 8 March at 9:52am, a 12-minute disruption on 9 March at 9:51am, a 13-minute disruption each day on 10, 11 March at 9:50am, a 12-minute disruption on 12 March at 9:50am, and a 9-minute disruption on 13 March at 9:51am.
Audiences of televisions which operate through the satellite may witness disruption in the broadcast alongside telecommunication service receivers.
