A bilateral meeting between Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar began at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka this morning (24 August).
Ishaq Dar arrived in Dhaka earlier in the day on a two-day official visit, during which the two countries are expected to sign six agreements and memoranda of understanding.
The Pakistani foreign minister began his engagements with a breakfast meeting with the commerce adviser at 8:30am. Before the formal bilateral talks scheduled for 10am, Touhid Hossain and Ishaq Dar were set to hold a one-on-one meeting.
