Pakistan FM holds phone talks with FM Khalilur

Seeking stronger cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman today (22 February), felicitating him on his recent appointment.
Both leaders expressed a desire to further strengthen bilateral ties, with a shared vision of peace, stability, and prosperity, the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka said.
They also agreed to expand cooperation across diverse sectors and in multilateral fora, building a forward-looking partnership for the peoples of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Pakistan High Commissioner in Dhaka Imran Haider, during a meeting with Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman today, conveyed his government's keen interest in working closely with Bangladesh's new government to further strengthen and broaden bilateral cooperation.
The foreign minister expressed the government's intent to explore new avenues of collaboration for the welfare of the peoples of both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
He also underscored Bangladesh's priority of strengthening regional cooperation for the benefit of people across the South Asian region.
