Ansar member on puja duty found dead in Bogura's Shibganj
An Ansar member who was on duty at a puja mandap in Shibganj of Bogura was found dead at her house.
The deceased, Asha Debi Mohant, was found dead by her relatives at her residence in the Banail area around 12am on Monday night, Shibganj police station Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rauf told The Business Standard today.
"There is no injury mark on Asha Debi's body. However, a noose mark was found on the neck.

"The police are investigating the incident. We have recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue," said the police official.
Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Shibganj branch official Manzurul Islam said the deceased was the Ansar leader of ward-8 of Shibganj and was in-charge at the Durga Puja mandap in Banail.
