Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma has urged the members of Buddhist community to be united with the bond of peace and harmony to create a social welfare society.

"I am always sincere to work devotedly for welfare and development of the Buddhist community," he said while addressing the devotees marking this year's Buddha Purnima at Tabalchhari Ananda Bihar Multipurpose Hall today (10 May).

Life of the people, work, conscious, death and rebirth- all are natural. Buddhism focuses on all aspects of life- sorrow, illness, grief, suffering, treatment and path of overcoming those through morality, meditation and wisdom.
