7 range DIGs, 5 metropolitan police commissioners transferred
Seven deputy inspector generals (DIG) of different ranges and five commissioners of different metropolitans have been transferred.
In an order of the Public Security Division of the home ministry issued today (21 August), they were transferred from their current locations.
This change in post will be effective immediately, reads the order.
